With 48 years of experience in the beauty industry and 36 years dedicated to teaching, Pamela has bult a career as a passionate Cosmetology Educator and Education Director. Pam's journey has been defined by a commitment to student success, curriculum innovation, and staying at the forefront of industry trends. As the Education Director for Gorge Academy in the Dalles Oregon, she developed and implemented comprehensive cosmetology programs, mentored students, and prepared graduates for successful careers. Her work also includes creating a state-approved educational program with a bloodborne pathogens training video to enhance the learning experience for professionals. She is currently on two boards for qualifications and curriculum development.

Throughout Pamela's career, she has also thrived as a freelance cosmetologist, salon owner, and evaluator for the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists. Her approach centers on meeting students and clients where they are, tailoring instruction and services to individual needs, and fostering a supportive environment for growth.

Beyond Pamela's professional life, she finds inspiration and balance through her hobbies. She enjoys painting, which allows her to express creativity in new ways, gardening, where she nurtures growth and appreciates the beauty of nature; golfing, which challenges her to stay focused and active, and knitting, a craft that brings relaxation and a sense of accomplishment. These interests not only enrich her life, but also influence her teaching
philosophy - encouraging creativity, patience, and lifelong learning.
