Background

Celina believes that education and career paths should be available to everyone, regardless of financial background or societal circumstances. Her work at Atarashii is helping to turn that belief into reality, empowering others to achieve financial freedom through innovative, accessible learning paths.

A strong advocate for accessible education, Celina earned her Associate in Business Degree from Everett Community College, where she was also recognized with an Outstanding Academic Award in Technology Education. As a student, she embraced online learning, completing the majority of her degree classes remotely. This experience fuels her commitment to online education as a tool to remove barriers and make career opportunities in the beauty industry attainable for all.

Celina is proud to be the 8th generation in her family to enter the beauty industry, continuing a legacy while forging a new path. Although not licensed in beauty practices herself, she is leaving her mark by helping to transform beauty education and break away from the traditional model of classical beauty schools. Through her work with the Atarashii Apprentice Program, Celina is dedicated to making a positive impact on the industry’s future.

Celina is the 8th generation of her family to enter into the beauty industry.  Although she is not licensed in the practices, she is leaving her mark on the family line by participating in the evolution of beauty education and shattering the old foundation of the classical beauty school.

Celina holds an "Associate in Business Degree" though Everett Community College, and an "Outstanding Academic Award in Technology Education" through her academic career.

As a student, she maintained the majority of her degree classes online.  She advocates for accessibility through online education as a means to eliminate barrier to entry within the beauty industry.
