Jessee Skittrall

Background

Jessee Skittrall is no stranger to the hairdressing industry! With six generations of hairdressers in his family and over 20 years of experience in the U.S., Jessee now shares his wealth of talent and knowledge internationally. As an accomplished hairdresser and haircolorist, he not only works behind the chair but also owns a salon in Washington State, where he continues to inspire clients and fellow professionals alike.

Jessee’s dedication to education and innovation is evident through his dynamic presentations and advanced training sessions. Known for his progressive cutting techniques and creative color artistry, he has worked alongside industry legends such as Sam Brocato, Mary Brunetti, Ruth Roche, Vivienne Mackinder, Oscar and Wendy Bond, Scott Cole, and David Kinigson. His career highlights include serving on the Kadus Professional/Brocato Design Team and leading the Pacific Northwest Kadus Professional Education Team.

As one of the few professionals certified by both the American Board of Certified Haircolorists (ABCH) and the International Board of Certified Haircolorists (IHE), Jessee brings a unique level of expertise to every aspect of his work. Currently, he serves as Technical Coach for KIN North America, and his insights have been featured at the annual Energizing Summit for the ABCH. Jessee is also the Executive Director for The Board of Certified Haircolorists.

Beyond his technical skills, Jessee’s true passion lies in making a difference. As President and Program Director of the Atarashii Apprentice Program, a federally recognized apprenticeship initiative, he is committed to creating accessible career pathways in Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, Manicuring, and Hair Design.
