Background

Kelle began her barbering career in 1997 as a single mom of two, finding in the beauty industry the perfect blend of creativity and purpose. As a second-generation barber, she proudly carries on the family tradition started by her mother. While clipper cuts and short hair were her initial passions, Kelle soon discovered a natural talent for color and highlights, expanding her skills and deepening her love for the craft.

In 2000, Kelle took her first steps into education, becoming an educator for ARtec International. Specializing in color education, cutting, and product knowledge, she traveled to salons, schools, and hair shows, sharing her expertise and inspiring others. The following year, she opened her first barbershop, marking the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey.

Kelle’s dedication to teaching led her to pursue a Barber Instructor license in 2012, and by 2014, she had crossed over into cosmetology, earning dual-licensed instructor status in Texas. Her diverse teaching background spans private sector institutions, chain schools, and junior colleges, where she has mentored many aspiring beauty professionals.

Today, Kelle continues to shape the industry as a barbershop owner, working behind the chair and bringing her passion to life in every cut, color, and conversation. Her journey reflects not only a commitment to her craft but also a deep dedication to helping others find their path in the world of beauty.
